Fresno DUI Checkpoints In The News

Here is another story about Fresno DUI Checkpoints and recent results: Fresno, CA, USA (KFSN) — Officers arrested dozens of drivers who had too much to drink before getting behind the wheel and this year, a new law will help them even more.

The news story also goes on to talk about the new laws in place for drivers already covicted on driving under the influence, DUI, “Law enforcement has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to drinking and driving, and now, so does the DMV. Starting Thursday, if you are on probation for a DUI and are caught driving with any amount of alcohol in your system, your license will be suspended for one year.”

This is a rather harsh law that not only involves a possible violation of probation, as in years past, but adds often times much more severe consequences to those caught and arrested.

It is imperative that you contact an experienced Fresno DUI Attorney to discuss your rights and defense to such charges.
